Come watch me, I am Nudie

Okay, it's been confirmed. Obviously I don't understand the concept of saving money. If I do, I wouldn't had gone shopping today! Plus, what the fuck was I doing going shopping when I was supposed to have my lunch and go back home to study for my exam next week. Anyhow, I can now proudly admit that I am a Nudie jeans owner. I bought it at General Pants at Melbourne Central. Look at this baby...

... pretty, isn't it? It's not me in this picture, but imagine: sexy, atheletic calves, and round, firm, bootylicious buns. HA ~ I know I don't look good in skinny jeans but what the heck, Kate Moss wears it... so, enough said. The salesperson there was funny. She made a joke about the Tsubi jeans with glitters and how they are for Mardi Gras and look not-so-manly. Ahem ~ okay ~ remind me not to get that jeans. But those glitters on a metallic silver fabric... so pretty... NO, I am not gonna get them!

Emotion: Worried

I'm bit worried of what is to come in the next month or so.

But...

it's pointless to worry, when things always work out in the end. They might not work out the way you want them to, but they always work out.

Boring, but productive

It's amazing how I got so much things done today. In the afternoon, I went to Xiang Hair at QV to have my haircut. That wasn't before I tried to make an appointment with Reinassance, Millenium Lifestyle and Toni & Guy without success. It was my first time at Xiang Hair and Joel is now my new favourite hairdresser. He's like the David Michangelo of hair. After a few snips, he would stand back, observe and snip some more. My head was push in all possible directions and at one point it was so far south I discovered a new way to satisfy myself. Anyway, I might had paid twice of what I did before, but it worthed every penny.

After that I went to use the solarium at the gym. The beauty machine is one of those which you stand instead of lay in. While I was standing inside the machine I had to lift my arms slightly so that my underarm areas get tanned too. My shoulders got a bit tired after 5-6 minutes and I was going to hold on to a bar but I didn't want to have white palms. I'd never been more stressful in my entire life! I'm surely going back to one of those lay-in, stress-free one they used in Final Destination 3 next time and...

I did some shoulders and abs work. Home by around 3pm and worked on my essay until 9 something. I feel dead now, but accomplished.

Bad Korea, bad bad

Shame on North Korea!

It spends billions of dollar on developing nuclear bomb when, apparently, 39 per cent of its children suffered chronic malnutrition. AUD1 could probably feed 50 North Korea children, but then why feed them when you know one of them could potentially be the next Kim Jong-il. Anyway, North Korea is in deepshit. It has probably just severed its ties with its closest allies, China and Russia. And if Saddam Hussein got bitch-slapped by the world for allegedly possessing and refusing to handover weapons of mass destruction, I expect more severe sanction for North Korea for actually exploding a weapon of mass destruction.

Anyway, what do I know about world issues when all I care about is fashion and food. I shared a AUD12.90 a dozen of orginal glazed krispy kreme donuts with my sister yesterday. I had 5 of those donuts for dessert last night. It's true. They do taste better if you microwave them for 10 seconds before eating. It becomes soft, warm and I think, less sweet. The problem with eating 5 donuts at once was that I only had 1 left for tonight. So, on the way back from uni today I bought myself a chocolate donut from Donut King. Firstly, it's closer to home and secondly, I wanted to do a comparison between a microwaved DK and a microwaved KK.
And the prize for the Best Microwaved Donut goes to... Krispy Kreme!!!!!

You're beautiful

Minnie Riperton - 'Loving you': Loving you is easy cause you're beautiful

Maroon 5 - 'She will be loved': Tap on my window knock on my door
I want to make you feel beautiful.

James Blunt - 'You're beautiful': You're beautiful. You're beautiful.
You're beautiful, it's true.

側田 - '我不是好人': 我怎麼好 You are so beautiful

古巨基 - '愛美麗': 多得你愛得到 帶得走. You are so beautiful beautiful.

陶吉吉 - '每一面都美': 想你只是藉口 You Are So Beautiful.

There is always a song for everyone. There are children songs for kids. Christmas chorals for Xmas. For every romance victim, we have relatable I-Know-How-You-Feel songs. And for every not-so-pretty individual, we have 'You're Beautiful' songs.

Kuala Lumpur

Photo from Wikipedia.

I'd finally booked my one-way ticket back to Kuala Lumpur. After more than 10 years of living in Melbourne, I decided to return to my home country soon after my last and final exam.

When I was 13 years old, I was desperate to fulfill my childhood's dream of living as far away from my family as possible. There were a few options available at that time. First, there was the option of boarding school, which I refused because when I said 'far', I wanted it to be really 'far'. Second, I could study and live in Singapore with my aunt and cousins. I remember I didn't mind that idea, but somehow it didn't work out. And then there was Melbourne - where I spent 3 years living with my uncle, 3 years with my elder brother and now with my younger sister.

Honestly, I'm eager to return to KL. It's a great city. It's one of many places in Asia where domestic slavery is legal. It's super safe for people with money as it has the lowest average crime rate as bribery is not unlawful if it is asked for by the law enforcement officials. I believe it's the only place (maybe also in Thailand) where AUD3 could get you full 3-course meal or a foreign prostitute.

I'm going to miss Melbourne, but I'd miss KL more if I don't go back.

'06 Springtime, '07 Spring-trend

It's mid-Spring already. If you haven't already got hayfever, go rub your bloody nose in someone's bushes! I hate hayfever. I hate running nose. But after years to overdosing on herbs and vitamins, I don't get hayfever anymore. Believe me on this, lots of vitamin C, echinacea and garlic. Anyway, these are some Spring-trends I like:

GO SPORTY: Simple - a cap, singlet and a pair of 3/4 shorts. Nothing can do wrong with this ensemble.

Kim Jones.

GO SPORTY and TANNED:
once again, singlet and shorts, but this time with a tan for bonus points.

Dsquared.

LONG shirt with SHORT shorts - Instead of short-sleeved shirt and long pants, go semi-formal with a long-sleeved shirt and a pair of shorts.

Prada.

ACCESSORISE - Give your old pants a new look with a suspender.
