Merry 06 Xmas

Friday night was Curse of the Golden Flower night. The breasts flaunting, multi-million dollar film about royal power and betrayal featured some of the biggest names of Asia-wood - Chow Yun Fat, Gong Li and Jay Chou. Besides the big names and budget, the film made a relatively small impression on me. CYF who played Emperor Ping was mediocre and it remained me why his attempt on Hollywood stardom failed miserably. The ill-healthed Empress Phoenix, played by GL was convincing, but the voice-over diminished the potentially believable performance by the slut-gorgeous actress. Just in case people didn't realise, it was Christmas last weekend. My endeavour to bring sexy back in preparation for the weekend and the weekend to come has costed me dinasours and the amount is adding. I had my haircut on Thursday and after my road rules test on Saturday, Chan and I went to have our 90 minutes facials at KL Plaza. On Sunday, we attended the Justin Christmas Countdown concert. The venue isn't really suited for a concert of any kind. It's extremely spacious, flatly levelled and has a very high ceiling, which only means - ECHO!

Refugees and RM45/75 ticket holders were fenced away from the rich ostentatious fans.
The concert was nothing out of the ordinary. In fact, it was quite dull. A good singer obviously doesn't equate to a good performer. We left the concert early to go clubbing.Clearer skin, tidier hair and having fun in general don't come free. But in the end, no one really regret spending too much pampering themselves. They shouldn't anyway. What's better than ending an exciting year (graduated and relocated) with amazing parties, right? Partying while looking pretty, of course is not mandatory, but desirable.
